Running with Birds: 06:42 (short run)— 18:21sec (long run)

‘Running with Birds’ is a soundtrack for a 3km run, as part of the audio exhibition Outdoor Hiking with Sound & other Fireworks that guides you through three adjacent parks in Antwerp; Den Brandt, Middelheim and Vogelenzang.

Samples of birds mimicking technology are mixed with organ- and dopamine sounds to set the tempo for one to escape the city. However it is both an escape from and back to that which was originally escaped from. Cyberspace colonizing the physical.
